NEUROLOGY

It is the branch of medicine which deals with the nervous system of the body. The nervous system comprises the central and peripheral nervous system. This complex system involves the spinal cord and the brain. Common procedures such as Electroencephalogram, Lumber puncture etc. are done by specialists called Neurologists. Neurologists are consulted when there is lack of muscle coordination, strokes or decrease of sensation etc.
